Don’t ‘Over-Prepare’ for your Move!

Updated: Mar 22, 2022

As your moving day approaches, it is good to be as prepared as possible. However, it is possible to be “over-prepared.” What do I mean by that? Sometimes a moving customer does such a good job of packing up boxes that they accidentally pack things that may be needed before moving day arrives. The College Moving Crew has compiled a list of items that are often packed a little too soon; take a look to ensure you are not “over-prepared” for your upcoming move.

  • Medicine

  • Money

  • Dishes and Meals

  • Car Keys

  • Cleaning Supplies

  • An extra phone charger

  • Something to keep your kids occupied

  • Depending on the season - an umbrella or snow shovel

Hopefully, this list was helpful and thought-provoking. Also, The College Moving Crew would like to wish you good luck on your upcoming move. We hope the process is smooth and you settle into your new home well!

**Bonus Tip!**

Make sure you label all your boxes in detail. That will make your unpacking much more manageable, and it will also make it easier to find an item that you accidentally packed too early.
